Jacksonville Science Festival is the only student led-student driven live science event of its kind. For 8 years the majority of the research projects have been presented by elementary through college age students. Many educators, community organizations, and businesses have aligned with JSF’s mission and participated at and sponsored the three day live festival event. Thousands of visitors have shown up to encounter STEAM learning in a hands on and innovative way.
Jacksonville Science Festival is inviting high school and college students to attend a virtual Think Tank meeting to discuss how to bring the festival to the community and school classrooms through a virtual platform for 2021. Community Service hours will be awarded and there will be SWAG! (community service hours and SWAG will be available at the JSF Campus after the meeting date)
The challenge…we ask you to think about a low to no cost SUPER ENGAGING virtual week long experience for JSF 2021! Jacksonville Science Festival is a not for profit organization so funding for elaborate online website building is limited.
Please RSVP to [masked] with your full name, school, grade, contact email, t-shirt size, and whether you will be able to attend virtually by October 5th.
